Box Score For the second time this season, Morehouse lost to the Fort Valley State Wildcats. Final score 74-71
Two weeks ago, the Wildcats beat the Tigers on a buzzer beater in Fort Valley. At the time, the Wildcats were 1-17.
They entered today's game with a 2-21 record and didn't need a last second shot to win.
The Wildcats took a lead early in the second half and made the Maroon Tigers play catch up.Â
Tyrius Walker scored 17 second-half points, but it wasn't enough to overtake the Wildcats who lead by 11 points with six minutes remaining.  Â
Tyrone Brown posted a double-double, with 13 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
Michael Hall sank 5 of 6 shots and finished with 11 points.Â
This game had been scheduled for Monday, but was postponed because of inclement weather and a small water leak onto the court.
Saturday, at 3:30 p.m. is a date many Morehouse fans marked on their calendars when the 2014-15 schedule was released. That is when the Clark Atlanta Panthers visit Forbes Arena for what is usually the biggest game of the season.
Currently struggling at 6-18; 5-12 SIAC, the Panthers save their best efforts for their game against their cross-campus rival. In the last meeting, Morehouse won 81-71, at CAU's Epps Gymnasium.
This game is the only game on the Morehouse schedule with an admission. Morehouse and Spelman students, faculty and staff are admitted free. General admission is $10. Â Â
