Recent inclement weather has caused numerous cancellations of Morehouse baseball games. The field was wet, the air was frigid and the bats sat idle.
But the Maroon Tigers are ready to roar back into action.
As a result, Morehouse will play a single baseball game against Clark Atlanta, today at 4 p.m., at Perkerson Park.
This game was to be half of a doubleheader scheduled for Sunday. But in an effort to schedule games around the bad weather, the teams decided to play one today.
Rain is forecast for Sunday, but if the wet stuff holds off, the other game will be played on Sunday, at 11 a.m.
Clear weather is predicted for Saturday. That doubleheader will be played as scheduled, with a 12 p.m. start time.Â
